PROJ DESCRIPTION   The CCRTA is upgrading its Port Ayers transfer station by demolishing the existing transfer station and parking lot.  The reconstruction includes site reconfiguration, new fencing, a public area, 2 large main drives equipped with rolling automatic gates, lighting and landscaping. A small CMU facility building to include polished concrete floors, acoustical and gypsum ceilings. The reinforced concrete transfer station will feature two large opening and a small covered opening.  The openings are defined by parapet walls constructed of metal studs and finished with EIFS stucco look material.   The project will consist of improvements to the Water Utilities Building envelope by removing the existing roof system in its entirety and replacing with an energy efficient mechanically fastened PVC 50mil membrane, 20-year warranty cool roof system. Project also includes but is not limited to: repair any damaged roof decking; provide and install new metal ladder support with platform and handrail; repair or replace existing PVC electrical conduit on the roof for existing exterior lighting; remove and reinstall existing mechanical equipment, vents, etc.; remove and reuse existing aluminum gutter and downspout.   Project include repairs to the Administration Building, Cafetorium, Immaculate Conception Chapel, Athletic/Fine Arts Building, St. John Vianney, Library, Boys Facilities, and Gymnasium.   This project consists of the construction of new dog parks at 2 separate locations.

Scopes of work include but are not limited to, artificial turf, decomposed granite, loose gravel, new concrete paving, chain-link and decorative fencing, sitework, site furnishing & dog park equipment, and landscaping.
  Project includes but is not limited to the removal of existing lighting around Selena Memorial structure.  Provide and install new multi-colored LED lighting with programable scenes.  Provide linear array lighting and spot lighting and all controls.  Remove existing electrical panel at Mirador.  Provide and install new multi-colored LED lighting with programable scenes in center of structure.  Provide new panel and controls.  Perform work at (8) Miradors.  Provide and install (20) new solar lights on existing stormwater wood pile markers along seawall   Repairs to the Holy Family Church in Taft, Texas buildings include the Church, Parish Hall and Religious Education Building.  Repairs include but are not limited to, roofing replacement and/or repairs, flooring replacement, drywall replacement, re-painting surfaces, replacement of cabinets and countertops, sand & refinish pews, electrical repairs and fixture replacement, siding replacement, acoustical ceilings, window replacement, and CMU repairs.   New construction of a 90,475 SF pre-engineered metal building.  84,875 SF to be warehouse space and 5,600 to be office space.   Project includes but is not limited to the following: disconnect power and demolish existing elevator system; provide new hydraulic elevator system; provide power and lighting; provide fire alarm devices; provide HVAC system to elevator machinery room and provide structural reinforcing in elevator pit.   Project includes the demolition of the existing four (4) classroom building containing two (2) kindergarten classrooms, boys and girls restrooms, library classroom and computer classroom in its entirety, including all foundation elements.  Following demolition the existing classroom building will be replaced in kind, including all HVAC systems.  The school campus will remain in use through the construction duration, aside from standard school recess.
